New Partner, Catherine DiMarco, joins Pallett Valo’s Construction Law Practice
MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO, 03 October 2022 – Pallett Valo LLP, the largest law firm in the Peel Region, is growing its already established Construction Law practice by welcoming new partner, Catherine DiMarco.
Catherine, a highly regarded lawyer with more than 17 years of construction and general civil litigation experience, was one of the founding partners of a boutique construction law firm in Toronto and, prior to that, a partner at a prominent Toronto- based full-service firm.
Certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a specialist in construction law, she represents owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, as well as design and engineering professionals on claims, or on the defence of claims. In addition, Catherine has defended public authorities, including municipalities, in matters involving allegations of negligent design, supervision, and inspection.
In 2020, Catherine was named as a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers’ Society of America. She is vice-chair and executive member of the Ontario Bar Association Construction and Infrastructure Law Section; a past executive committee member, board member, and vice-chair of the Manufacturers, Suppliers and Services Council of the Canadian Construction Association; and a past member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Canadian Construction Association.
